Theres a part of me at night that doesn't want to sleep, It's nesting by the phone, with its finger on the button, it knows it shouldn't call, it plays red rover with the dial tone, now I've always been a coward I agreed with that, I was taught never to move, because if I never have to try, at least I'll always know, I'll never have to loose.
Theres a part of me at night when I am half asleep, thats chasing rabbits down a hole, they're white tails they get more dirty, the farther that we go but I think I prefer it below, with the stage set for the final act, you said your last lines right on cue, but now the curtains being drawn and I'm applauding your performance, I dream this every night or two
